The award winning Talay Thai Restaurant is Ascot’s Thai Restaurant of choice and is located 50 metres from the gates of Eagle Farm Racecourse. The restaurant entry is adorned with a huge heritage-listed Fig Tree.

Dine inside in air conditioned comfort (seats 32) or outside alfresco style (seats 50). Outside is fully covered and enclosed for winter and is located in a secluded environment behind the stunning fig tree.

We are open 6 nights Tuesday to Sunday 5.30pm until late and available for those special functions or group bookings upon request. Lunches for 10 or more are available for special bookings.

Our meals are prepared from the best ingredients and overflowing with fresh vegetables. The quality of the meals is second to none.

Our part-owner/chef Penny has over 25 years experience with her special Thai creations and superb flavours.
We cater for Celiacs use no MSG and all deep frying is done in pure cotton Seed oil(no cholesterol). The freshest of seafood is hand picked by Pennys partner Bruce who has many years experience in Queensland Seafood.
